Little birding today, but I did get a walk on Ruston Way this morning in a strong wind and very clear air.  The Olympics were clear view, and if not for the white-caps it would have been a good time for a bay watch.  As it was I brought my camera rather than binos, thinking maybe I could get some good photos.  Not really much to shoot, but a nice walk.

This evening was ABC at the UP Library and Ken did a bird quiz, Marcus and Bruce showed up and we had a nice time. Ryan W and Diane Y-Q were team captains, and we had 2 teams of 5, with Ken running the show and me running the PC and keeping score. Ryan’s team won be a moderate margin, and gulls and shorebirds dominated the photo quiz.
